Galway city is just 2 kms away with frequent bus service all day long from the bus stop just around the corner. Marless is bright and spacious, offering friendly accommodation with a relaxed atmosphere and off street parking. Breakfast, which is cooked to order, is an enjoyable and relaxed occasion where conversation flows freely amongst the guests. For your comfort and safety, Marless House is a strictly 'No Smoking' home. Free wireless Internet (802.11 b/g) is also available. Nearby attractions include Galway's pubs, music, restaurants, theatres, museum, cinema, art galleries. There are walking tours of Galway city which explore the history of medieval Galway. Alternatively, one can see Galway and Salthill and the outlining areas, by taking the open topped coach. Swimming, (both indoor and outdoor), 4 championship golf courses, tennis, pitch and putt, horse riding, golf driving range, are all close-by. Within easy reach are fine salmon and trout rivers and sea angling. Marless House is an ideal base for day trips to explore the fascinating and varied Galway Bay area: the Aran Islands; Connemara with it's lovely mountains and lakes, Kylemore Abbey and the National Park; the stony hills of The Burren and the spectacular Cliffs of Moher; the beautiful Cong and Maam Valley area. For visitors who do not have their own transport, or who do not wish to drive, there are several local companies who run daily coach tours on all trips. There are daily boat trips to the Aran Islands from Galway and Rosaveal, or fly with Aer Aran from Inverin Airport, with connecting coach services from Galway to Inverin and Rosaveal.
